Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Landscape Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have expertise in landscape management, irrigation systems, and environmental sustainability, ensuring that all landscapes are healthy, beautiful, and sustainable.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and oversee landscape maintenance programs for various properties, including parks, commercial areas, and residential communities.
- Manage and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water usage and plant health.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify issues such as pest infestations, plant diseases, and soil problems.
- Coordinate with landscape architects and designers to ensure alignment with design plans and specifications.
- Supervise and train maintenance staff on best practices in landscaping, safety, and equipment use.
- Develop and manage budgets for landscape maintenance projects.
- Monitor the health and growth of plants and make recommendations for improvements or replacements.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, including scheduling, labor, and materials used.
- Stay current with landscape maintenance technologies, trends, and best practices.
Maintenance Planning And Execution
- Ability to prepare and execute maintenance schedules and plans for softscape.
- Capable of preparing weekly, monthly, incident, and condition survey reports on softscape.
Required Managerial & Leadership Skills
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Meet with Clients on a regular basis to ensure work is carried out.
- Proven ability to perform in a site supervision role.
- Must be knowledgeable of current landscape practices and how to best implement it on the project.
- Develop and maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and team members.
- Monitor routine maintenance and progress on reported deficiencies and ensure that maintenance is of good standard that ensures the viability and continued success of the installation and that issues are reported and addressed.
- Resource management (manpower and materials).
- Management of suppliers of materials for timely delivery.
- Treats client’s environment as if it were our own.
- Exceeds client expectations to earn loyalty, trust, and referrals.
- Control and manage manpower, machinery and material to achieve optimum efficiency.
- Check and measure the performed work in his line of work.
OHS Responsibilities
- Ensure that all landscape maintenance activities comply with the company’s HSE policies and guidelines as set by the HSE Officer.
- Collaborate with the HSE Officer to address any safety concerns on-site and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Monitor and enforce safety practices among maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols during operations.
- Participate in safety meetings and audits in coordination with the HSE Officer to ensure continuous improvement in safety performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, BSc Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, management, or engineering.
- Strong knowledge of plant species, pest management, soil health, and irrigation systems.
- Experience with landscape design and project management.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Arabic speaking candidates preferred
- Minimum 4-6 Years Landscape Maintenance experience (Soft & Hard landscaping and Irrigation & Water feature systems) is a must.
- Only People with Middle East / UAE experience apply for the job.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with sustainable landscaping practices and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in using landscape management software and tools.
- Certification in landscape maintenance or related fields is a plus.
Required Computer & Communications Skills
- Must be computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc.
- Worked in Auto CAD software.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be fluent in English both written and spoken.
- Knowledge about any landscape management software’s/CAFM/Asset Management will be added advantage.
